The original video game The Wall is a game for MSX developed in assembly language for the Z80 and was released in Spain in 1986. At the time, more than 7,000 copies of the game were sold. It is currently on display at the MUVI (Video Game Museum) in Cangas, Pontevedra, as the first video game created in Galicia, Spain. The author, Alex González, wanted to redesign the same game with its original resolution, but using modern game engines for PC and Android. His goal is to allow players who played it back in the day to relive the original experience, and for those who never had the chance to play it in 1986, to now enjoy it on their PC or tablet. This game aims to faithfully reproduce the original in terms of the player, enemies, levels, etc., but with some minor changes. For example, instead of having only eight lives for the entire game, the player now has three lives per level, as one of the observations was that the game was very difficult to complete.
