Your history matters more than global popularity. Beaten keeps status, platforms, playthroughs, completion, mastery, and time separate so the record still makes sense years later.
Manual by default
You never need to connect a provider to track a game. Optional syncs add attributed observations and cannot replace the dates, ratings, reviews, playtime, or milestones you entered yourself.
Social when you want it
Profiles, lists, activity, and reviews begin from your privacy choices. Spoiler reviews stay covered until each reader explicitly reveals them.
