Baldi's Basics in 2D is a pixel-art fan recreation of the original survival-horror edutainment parody by Mystman12. Developed by ChimeLmaple5876, this project translates the infamous 3D schoolhouse environment into a flat, top-down 2D role-playing perspective. Players must navigate the pixelated corridors of the school, solve math problems on the "You Can Think Pad," and collect notebooks while avoiding the main antagonist, Baldi. While faithfully retaining the core gameplay mechanics and tension of the original game, this 2D adaptation introduces a layer of unique original content, distinct sprite artwork, and updated mapping systems. Players must manage their stamina, utilize items strategically, and dodge familiar school characters in a retro, stylized format.
